Jubilee Vineyard Estate is a small family
owned business, nestled in the pictureque Hawkesbury
Valley, just over an hours drive from the centre of
Sydney. Named after an original vineyard planted by
the famous surgeon Dr Thomas Fiaschi, in the 1880s,
the vineyard was re-established and planted with Chambourcin
(shom-bur-son) grapes.
Another dry year where our irrigation system was turned
off and the grapes were reliant purely on the limited
rainfall for survival. This resulted in lower yeilds,
but very concentrated fruit flavours. The Chambourcin
grapes were crushed, and the juices allowed to free
run, to produce a softer, fruiter wine. |
Tasting Notes: |
Vibrant in colour, this Rosé has raspberries,
strawberries, and spice aromas, with a crisp refreshing
palate, and a touch of sweetness.
A versatile wine which complements a wide variety of
meals. Serve chilled...and enjoy! |
