Jubilee Vineyard Estate is a small family
owned business, nestled in the pictureque Hawkesbury
Valley, just over an hours drive from the centre of
Sydney. Named after an original vineyard planted by
the famous surgeon Dr Thomas Fiaschi, in the 1870s[sic],
the vineyard was re-established and planted with Chambourcin
(shom-bur-son) grapes. |
Tasting Notes: |
Our first handpicked harvest! A delicate,
fresh, medium bodied wine with typical Chambourcin characteristics
of spice and lingering raspberry fruit, enhanced with
a touch of old american oak.
Complements a wide variety of meals, especially a lamb
or beef roast, or anything spicy such as indian or asian
cuisine..
Serve either at room temperature, or lightly chilled.
Enjoy now, or with additional cellaring will peak between
2008-2011.
We have chosen quality screw closures to maintain the
integrity of the wine. |
