The Federation label
The Hawkesbury History Heritage 2001 Committee Inc. and Tizzana Winery
have combined to bring you a series of wine and commerative port to
celebrate the anniversary of Federation in the Hawkesbury.
Enjoy it yourself or a great gift for a business associate or customer.
The specially designed labels depict the coat of arms developed at the time
of federation with elements of all the separate States incorporated in the
shield under a federation star.
A centerpiece in the label is a photograph of the Federation Arch erected in
George Street Windsor in 1901 to mark this auspicious occassion. The photo
was drawn from the Hawkesbury City Council’s photo collection. Thanks goes
to Hawkesbury City Council for permission to reproduce this important
photograph.
The rear label depicts the newly created logo for the Hawkesbury History
Heritage 2001 Committee Inc. by Jenny Butler of Wilberforce.
